Erin is a cross-border tax advisor. She assists with tax issues for individuals and businesses, including US citizens living in Canada, businesses with cross-border ownership or operations, and Canadian residents with investments in the US.

Prior to joining Polaris Tax Counsel, Erin worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, a law firm in New York, where she provided US tax advice to US and international businesses, financial institutions, and nonprofits.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and a JD from Yale Law School. She is licensed to practice law in New York state.

Erin van Wesenbeeck is a licensed lawyer in the state of New York, but is not yet licensed by the Law Society of BC. She is authorized to give legal advice in British Columbia under section 15(2) of the Legal Profession Act, section 6.1-3.3 of the Code of Professional Conduct, and Law Society Rule 2-13 under Max Reed’s supervision.
