Tanya Bartucz is a trust and estates lawyer serving clients in Ontario. At Polaris, she focuses on Ontario-resident clients who need cross-border estate planning and administration. She works closely with the firm’s tax lawyers to implement tax efficient cross-border estate plans. She has practiced Ontario estate law and administration for over 15 years.

Prior to transition her practice to Ontario wills and estates, she practiced complex commercial litigation at large firms in Washington, D.C. and Toronto. After graduating from law school, she clerked for Judge Cardamone on the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. Tanya holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Toronto and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Tanya is licensed as a lawyer in New York and Ontario, but restricts her practice to Ontario law.
